    Has anyone else run into the following error when trying to install and activate the required WoooCommerce plugin?

    Installing Plugin: WooCommerce

    Download failed. A valid URL was not provided.

    Nevermind. I found the solution. There was another VW theme to activate that I was not aware of. For anyone else that has this issue, the following video is helpful.

    If VW administrators see this post, this would be a good item to update in the Documentation instructions under Section 4, “Plugin Installation”.

    I see what the issue is but can’t fix it. There are two VW Gardening Landscape themes appearing in WordPress, which is what I was confusing above – the standard theme and pro, which I purchased. When I try and install the required WooCommerce plugin I get the following error.

    Downloading installation package from /home/content/p3pnexwpnas10_data03/32/42187432/html/wp-content/themes/vw-gardening-landscaping-pro/inc/plugins/woocommerce…

    Download failed. A valid URL was not provided.

    HELP!!!!

    Hi,

    Plugins are utilities which provide additional functionality to your application. To install a plugin you just need to put the plugin files into the wp-content/plugins directory. Once a plugin is installed, you may activate it or deactivate it from the Plugins menu in your WP administration.

    OR Follow the steps given below:

    In WordPress 2.7 and above you can install plugins directly from the admin area. Download the plugin to your computer, then log in to your WP admin area and go to Plugins > Add New.

    Browse to the plugin archive and select it. Then click Install Now and the plugin will be installed shortly.

    The removal is also straight-forward in most cases. Simply remove the directory for the plugin you would like to uninstall and it will be automatically deactivated.

    Quick Review:

    To add a WordPress Plugin using the built-in plugin installer:

    Go to Plugins > Add New.
    Find the WordPress Plugin you wish to install.
    Click Install Now to install the WordPress Plugin.
    The resulting installation screen will list the installation as successful or note any problems during the install.
    If successful, click Activate Plugin to activate it, or Return to Plugin Installer for further actions.

    Hi, im experienceing an issue with the woo commerce / vw posttype plugins. if i have both activated then i am unable to publish/update pages themes etc. but as soon as i deactivate either of the plugins then it works. it seems to be a conflict between the two plugins.
    i am using VW Charity pro

    Kindly follow the below steps to install the Woocommerce plugin

    Go to Dashboard >> plugin >> Add New >> search Woocommerce Plugin >> Install and activate.
