The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.

Just bought the template and I am following the instructions and when trying to install the theme it says:
The uploaded file exceeds the upload_max_filesize directive in php.ini.
If this is a WordPress template how can it be that it doesn’t allow me to install it. Please advise what I need to do to get it installed.
I talked to my hosting provider and they increased the capacity and I was able to upload it.
