reducing height of slider images and strange background issue

Hello, I recently purchased the theme and I have two questions:
1) I would like to reduce the height of the slider images. 700 px is really huge and I’d like to change it. Where can I change the value?
2) on the footer area the “footer newsletter” is disabled while “footer widget” and “footer text” are enabled. I can still see the background image of the “footer newsletter” on the upper part: how can I fix it?

Hi,

1. It depends what size you are keeping of an image when you will reduce the size of the image it will subsequently reduce the height of the slider.

2. Please provide us the site URL so that we can review your problem.

Hello,

we reviewed your problem please follow the following steps

Go to Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> Additional CSS -> Paste below CSS there -> Publish
#footer {
text-align: center;
color: #fff;
padding: 0em 0 0 0px;
text-align: left;
}
.footer-cols {
padding-bottom: 40px;
padding-top: 40px;
}
