When I click the menu button, all the pages and subpages open. I want the pages alone to open, with an option for the subpages to open when I click on the page that has the subpages. He is a website with an example of the way I want the menu to be acas-law.com.

It is the default menu of our theme.
You can use a plugin to add a mobile menu as you have mentioned.
