    Hello,

    I purchased the Landscaping WP Theme and I see that there were two downloads with the purchase; ‘VW Gardening Pro’ and ‘VW Gardening Pro child’. I am new to Word Press and have been unsuccessful in locating instructions on how to upgrade my free theme. Do I install these downloads? If so, where? I was hoping there would be some sort of instructions upon purchase. Can you assist?

    UPDATE: I believe I am supposed to install the ‘VW Gardening Pro’ by uploading the theme. However, I received an error message of ‘Incompatible Archive’ How do I overcome thi error to get my theme installed?

    UPDATE: I found instructions online to recompress the file:
    Recompress Using Windows File Explorer:
    If you’re a Windows user, extract the zip file you downloaded and then recompress the main directory or folder. Here’s how:
    Right-click the main plugin or theme folder.
    Select Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder.
    Use the newly created zip file to upload.

    However, after trying to upload the ‘VW Gardening Pro’ zip by selecting: Appearance, themes, upload; I received the following response:

    Unpacking the package…

    Installing the theme…

    The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

    Theme installation failed.

    Can someone tell me if I am doing this incorrectly or if the zip I purchased is no good with Word Press?
