Changes reverting back to developer text & video issues

Hi I keep changing the text in the home page categories(the filler text about the most liked) in video vlogpro child. It always reverts back to developer text even after I change it and publish changes.

Also videos do not play on the page once you click to read text. Only from the top five on home page can you watch. I need them to access video when click to read info as well.
