I understand that there is no drag and drop feature for re-ordering sections on a theme home page.
However, I believe you can insert a php hook code to position a section on a page.
It’s not clear in the support guide how to do this. Can anybody advise, or know of any information on how and where to position hook codes so that sections can be placed where required.

As per your query, we are giving you some easy steps to change the position of sections.
Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Editior >> Page Template >> Home Page Page Template >> In code you need to change the postion >> Updated.
We are providing you a screenshot, in which we have highlight how to change position.
