Typography settings not working

In the theme typography settings, I have customized specific colors for all headings and size for body/paragraph text. These customizations are working on the home page only. Every other page, with default page template, have grey font color for all headings and paragraph text. In addition the paragraph text is very small, although I have set to 16 in typography settings. I have not indicated custom font for anything and left at default. Yet, I’m getting different fonts for the navigation and home page than for any other page. Even within the home page, I can see that buttons have a different font than paragraph right above them.
