The problem with Gtranslate is that the free version does not allow you to override the automatic translation. So, if you just need to override even one word from the translated theme setting strings you need a paid subscription. This will cost a lot more than the theme itself. In my case this is not feasible and makes the vw-startup-pro theme unusable.

    Hi,

I am referring to the problem raised by Attis:
“Simple question: how can I translate eg. the Customizer \ Theme Settings \ Slider Settings \ Slide Text1? Polylang “Strings translations” menu doesn’t list it or any other theme related texts.”

The solution that vwtheme suggested “creating .mo and .po files” does not work, as this allows one to translate the customizer interface, but does not allow for translating the texts entered by the site owner, which eventually appear on the website”. I have also sent vwtheme support emails asking about this and they said “It is not a theme issue of language translation. It is an issue of the plugin which you are using”. However, I did not find free plugins that can do this job.

Attis said: “wpml-config.xml solved my problem”. So I am asking, how can I create this file for the theme I am using vw-startup-pro.
Without being able to translate translate these texts all VW Themes are useless to me and I will have to look elsewhere for themes that can be fully translated.

    Thanks

    Dear Attis,

Can you point out how you created the wpml-config.xml to solve the problem?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Thank you. This solution works when the site has only one language. However, when the site has English in addition to Arabic, the English h1 will also be right sided now. How can this be applied to RTL languages only?

    Best Regards
