Hi, I would like to know how to edit the slider button text in the Tour theme. There is no section to edit it within the customize theme tab, it only allows you to edit the colors. Am I missing something?

    Hi,

We have updated the theme with the same version you just need to download it again and upload it to your wp-content/themes directory via Cpanel or FTP make sure you first delete the existing theme. Your previously added content will not be lost.

If you have any query feel free to ask.

    Thanks

I’m using this theme and have set up the slider for 4 slides and put the website address for the appropriate post in each of the four slides. But from the home page, clicking on the Learn More button doesn’t take you to the post.
    See homepage slider here
Is this a bug in the template coding?

    Hi Badams,
As per your query, we have seen your site and we are giving you some easy steps to add a link on learn more button.
Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Customize >> VW Setting >> Slider Settings >> You will get Slide Link1 in which you have to add your post Link >> Publish.
There is no issue with the template.
If you need any other help please let us know.
    Thanks

    Hi
I’ve done that. I have links in each of the four slider link fields. And they were published. But the Learn More buttons do not work. I had a friend who builds WordPress sites look at it and he delved into the code and said there’s glitch. Can we talk by phone? Or email directly?

    Hi Tony,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

You got the premium theme download links on your order confirmation mail which contains the following zip files. You can also download these zip files from your VW Themes account downloads section.

    1. VW Tours
    2. VW Tours child
    3. Title Banner Plugin
    4. Gallery Images Plugin
    5. VW Tours post type

If you haven’t got the zip file of the theme, please send us your order number, we will give you the login credential of your account on our website

VW Tours is a premium version theme and VW Tours child is a child theme. The “Title Banner Plugin”, “VW Tours post type” and “Gallery Images Plugin” are theme required plugins.

VW Tours and VW Tours child must be added from Appearance -> Themes one by one.

For the theme installation, go through the method 2: Install a Theme by using Upload Method from WordPress Admin
    http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-install-a-wordpress-theme/

If you have successfully completed theme installation, follow the below steps to get the demo content on your homepage.

    1. Create Page to set template: Go to Dashboard >> Pages >> Add New Page.

Label it “home” or anything as you wish. Then select template “home-page” from template drop-down.
    Check screenshot: https://www.vwthemes.com/docs/doc-assets/home-page-template.png

    2. Set the front page: Go to Setting -> Reading –> Set the front page display static page to home page.

    Check screenshot: https://www.vwthemes.com/docs/vw-tour-pro/images/set-front-page.png

It will show the demo content on the home page. Then customize it from the Appearance -> Customize -> VW Settings

The remaining three plugins must be added through the Plugins -> Add New. Plugin configuration steps are already included in the documentation:
    https://www.vwthemes.com/docs/vw-tour-pro/#section-7

    Documentation: https://www.vwthemes.com/docs/vw-tour-pro/

    Additional Information:
Child theme: A child theme acquires styles, features, and functionalities from its parent theme. A child theme is an effective way to make modifications in the styles/ features of the parent theme without adjusting the code of parent theme. Along these lines, you can simply update the main WordPress theme with no stresses in regards to your customization and changes. Basically, a child theme is used to override the features of parent theme without affecting the parent theme. We suggest our customers, to make any of the changes to the child theme in case if any and child theme should be activated.

If you got stuck somewhere then send us the query. If you want we can set up your theme, make a user for us assign administrator role and send us the username and password.

    Thanks
