Intially started with free version of VW Bakery. Menu was as it should be. Then loaded the Pro version.
Now there are double menus showing up. Found one reference for the free version but the tried the idea and didn’t work
What do I need to change so that only one menu shows up?
Thanks!
September 5, 2021 at 2:59 am #68279Rina GlassParticipantSo, tried removing all menus. In the Dashboard, under Appearance, then Menus, I deleted all menus.
In Customizer, I deleted menus I had created. Now it says
“Menus
It doesn’t look like your site has any menus yet. Want to build one? Click the button to start. You’ll create a menu, assign it a location, and add menu items like links to pages and categories. If your theme has multiple menu areas, you might need to create more than one.”
However, when I look at the site in another search engine as a viewer, it still shows double menus.

The theme consists of the menu right and left.
You can set up different menus on both side
You can refer to the theme documentation for setting up the menu
The documentation link is https://www.vwthemesdemo.com/docs/vw-bakery-pro/
Thank you

Thank you for replying.
My question: How do I turn off the menu on the left?
Thanks
September 6, 2021 at 9:31 am #68323developer vwthemeParticipantHello,
The theme has the design of two menus.
Showing only one menu is possible through making changes in custom code.
Thank you

I have the same issue, I cannot get rid of the double menu and it is irritating.
If you have to make changes to the custom code, why not provide more information as to where to make the change in the custom code, or at least better documentation.
These vague responses are getting oldApril 9, 2022 at 9:33 am #79770developer vwthemeParticipantHi,
Could you please share the website url
Thank you
April 15, 2022 at 4:13 am #79932Rob BohannanParticipantHello,
I have not yet published the site because it is not ready, and because of the double menu.
Is there a way to completely reset and reinstall the theme and start over?
Please advise.
ThanksApril 15, 2022 at 10:33 am #79945developer vwthemeParticipantHello,
You can use wp reset plugin to reset the website
Then you can import demo data again
Thank you
April 17, 2022 at 11:20 am #79988Rob BohannanParticipantMy apologies for asking stupid questions, but where do I find wp reset plugin?
All the responses here are vague, and it is more difficult for a novice like me to figure this out.
Please advise where to find that plug in, and also advise on how to avoid the “double menu” in the future.
Thank youApril 19, 2022 at 8:44 am #80067developer vwthemeParticipantHi,
Download the plugin from the below link
Thank you
May 16, 2022 at 5:37 am #80816Rob BohannanParticipantInstalled the WP Reset plugin, and the double menu remains.
Why wont the support department for these themes provide a direct and informative solution to resolve this issue?
Is there a way to completely remove the menus altogether? I do not know why or how they were suddenly there, but i prefer to have a simple menu without all the duplication.
Anyone have a clue? Please and thank youMay 16, 2022 at 1:24 pm #80837developer vwthemeParticipantMay 20, 2022 at 2:03 am #81005Rob BohannanParticipantOK, this is starting to be a joke.
Simple question asked of this forum and of the support dept. and still have not received an answer on how to correct this issue.
When I purchased the theme, it was advertised as having great support, etc.
That is not a true statement.
Where can I get this resolved?May 20, 2022 at 1:45 pm #81019developer vwthemeParticipantHi,
The theme has 2 menu system i.e on right and left
And on both sides you can show different menu
Thank you
