    Hi all,
Afeter try to troubleshooting with GIVE Plugin SUPPORT about an issue related to the STRIPE PAYMENTS, I’ve got back this to you as the problem is related to the THEME CHARITY PRO.
This issue is now very urgent from my side and the reason I am writing here, is because I did not receive any answer from your private support yet.

You can see the problem here: http://www.helpin.name

I copy here the e-mail I have receive from GIVE SUPPORT.

    Hi Ido,

On further testing, I have found that there is some conflict with the theme that is being used.

I further tested locally on a duplicate setup and found that when I switch the theme to a default theme like twentyseventeen I could complete the donation without any issue.

( a screenshot from my local duplicate setup of your website )

On further debugging, I found that the theme which is used in your live site is including the jquery.js file on e more time https://www.helpin.name/wp-content/themes/vw-charity-pro/js/jquery.min.js?ver=4.9.8 which means there is two jquery.js file. This could be causing the issue.

You can see an error in the browser console when you switch the payment gateway from the default Stripe to Paypal.

I would suggest checking with the theme support or your web developer and try and get rid of that other jquery.js file.

This inclusion of jquery file can cause more issues in the future. The themes, plugins etc should make use of the default jquery.js file that comes with the WordPress Core.

Here is an article which explains how adding your own jquery is not a good idea: https://pippinsplugins.com/why-loading-your-own-jquery-is-irresponsible/

Please test the above and Let me know if you have any other questions and I will be happy to help.

    Hi,

    Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

If the payment gateway is conflicting with the jquery being used in our theme. Then you can remove it. We know that WordPress loads the jQuery. But that was the older version. Anyway if it is conflicting with your payments. You can remove it. We will require some time to update it from our theme.

If you need any help from us you feel free to ask.

    Thanks
