I tried to upload the new theme upgrade and the main page got erased!!

Are there Upgrade Instructions for the SOLAR Theme?

Hi,

We are providing simple steps to download the updated theme and install it on your WordPress

1) Kindly take a backup of the website before updating the theme.

2) Go to https://www.vwthemes.com/my-account/ with your details.

3) Then go to https://www.vwthemes.com/my-account/downloads/ and download the updated theme.

4) Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Themes >> Add new >> Upload the theme (Replace the theme)

5) Refresh the website

Hi, We are having much the same issue however the responce provided does not work for us. Our Version of the Industrial Theme is 1.0 and wanting to upgrade to 1.9. 1.0 uses the Sirat theme with an Industrial Theme Pro plugin. Uploading the upgraded theme seems to create a completely different theme in the theme section and the only way to activate it is to first deactive the old plugin and old theme then activate the new theme and plugin but doing that leads to all content disappearing.

Surely there must be a simple way to get this to work without having to redo all the content?
