header image appearing pixelated and poor quality

Hi there

I have tried multiple times to upload a header image in the advised 1600 x99 pixels dimensions.
Every time it comes out with only a part of the image highly zoomed in and looking pixelated and poor quality.
can you please advise me on what I am doing wrong – it is very important for my site ot have this feature looking good.
