Footer Widgets are Greyed Out

The Parallax Pro documentation shows that you can access and edit the 4 Footer Widgets but on my system they are greyed out and simply say …

Appears on footer

… this is for all 4 Footer Widgets.

Hi,

I can’t see how to add a screen shot here.

I watched the video and con confirm I have no ‘VW Footer Widgets’ on the left hand side that I can add to the active ones on the right hand side.

All I have are 4 active footer widgets called Footer Widget 1, 2, 3 and 4 and when I open them they are greyed out with just the words ‘Appears on footer’

Hello,

First, you need to enable footer widgets from the customizer

Follow the below steps for the enable footer widgets

Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Settings >> Footer Widgets

The Footer Widget 1, 2, 3, and 4 are footer widgets you just drag any widget from the left side and drop to the footer Widget.
