Editing Footer Copyright credit

Go to Dashboard >> Appearance >> Customize >> Additional CSS and paste the given code

span.credit_link {
display: none;
}

I am using Hair Salon Pro. I tried to remove the pagination arrows on the slider as well as edit the footer copyright credit, I used

#slider-nav { display: none; }

span.credit_link {
display: none;
}

Neither of these worked. Please let me know
